Not read anyone elses views on this, so if it's already been said etc. then let
me just have my say or ignore it.
I think from a foriegner's view, it's the whole "grass is greener"
thing, except you think that you're better than them in some aspects (rather
than wanting what they have.) For instance, the Soviet Union obviously looked
down at USA/Western's ideology, thinking they have the "ultimate
plan." And Visa Versa.
As for USA citizens hating America, well, that's probably because they're
against the party (e.g. labour/conservitives/Liberal etc.), or the government
totally messed up.
The thing that may annoy me is the ignorance of blind obedience. A kind of
Patriotism that is not wrong, but naive, like the lemmings game... "We say
jump, you ask 'How high?'" I do believe that there is a strong influence of
this in the USA.
But in saying that, here in the UK, we have it's ignorant patriotism too. For a
country that depends on exports/imports, the most thing we seem to import are
immagrants. Yet the only thing about that is we loose our land to non-british,
becoming an island without any UK blood.
I'm not saying immagrants shouldn't be aloud, but our restictions are too
loose.
In conclusion, my view is no one is perfect. Yeah, there's a hate for aspects of
a different nation, and that goes for everyone. It is plain irresponsibility to
say "But I love all." Humanity has a thing for hate of some level. But
as long as you see both pros and cons of each nation, you should be able to
determine what you consider is right/wrong. You are an individual with one mind.
Make sure if you are a patriotic type that it's what you really think it's
right, rather than conform to the ignorant masses.
Definately Nodoka Miyazaki. Purple hair, shy as a mouse in cat-infested areas
her most memorable line from the manga:
"I've never been with a man before..."
"Well... me neither..."
She's so cute...
I'd have to say Soi Fong, as her attutude's kool to me. And another big plus is
that I like Hand-to-Hand combat.
Although, Yoruichi comes a close 2nd. Also hand-to-hand and has more sex appeal
than Soi Fong. And then there's the time she joined Ichigo for a bath... How far
down did his jaw drop?
Wow... 'Kino's Journey' is coming to life...
I've not read any Harry Potter, so I don't know how "bad" the
characters/story is.
I feel it's the government's job (especially a department that specialises in
'censorship') is to make the guidelines of what's good for what age, and the
publisher's/writer'sjobs to obey those guidelines.
Now, unless you're a back-water group, and you don't have many
morals/responsibilities, then you could give kids what we know is 18+ only in
reality/civil society. That's obviously crazy.
Now, that is for the basics of censorship. When it comes to what is acceptable
in terms of topics, it's iffy about what is acceptable.
For example: Governments and public don't really want to publish "Terrorist
Training Manuals" as it's a criminal/ill-moral extremism.
Witchcraft is mythical. That's why we have science, mathematics and other
logistic subjects. To make a love potion; To have wind come out your sleeves;
Spell chantings; They are all unproven methods of wizardry and witchcraft.
Therefore I don't see fictional things like this is bad for people of any
age.
The government and publishers really should have to look at what is acceptable
to the public, and logically say what is publishable and not. It's quite simple
to decide though.
Fiction is not evil or illegal. Teaching real life things may be due to what it
is trying to teach. But most of us have common sence, right? And like what
Zangetsu said (for anyone really. You dont want it, don't buy it. Let's not try
to kill originality.
As for the marrage thing, I don't go straight for one date or 2 and then think
it's sorted for life. Dating has to take at least a few visits at least to get
to know them well enough. Then you officially "Go out" with them (e.g.
admit love or become partners).
Then after a while (between month to a year) you should have a very good
view/trust in each other. Then you get engaged etc.
That's for the average marrage plan, in my view. Rushing it may leave to failed
relations, and Taking it too slowly may never get the relationship
going.
As for the New age Threat:
Yeah, we've gotten either too relaxed with main issues (like unemployment,
immagration etc) and out-of-control with confusing issues. Can't think of one of
the top, but it's there.
Quote by HanTupMannwhen the girl keep
looking at u and turns around all of the sudden when u look back, and when she
tries to get ur attention, u will know when that happens to
u
Really? You sure you haven't seen too many animes or read too many mangas? (Just
kidding.)
But in truthfulness, I'm not the guy to ask. I pathetically admit that I've
never had a date (or hardly a kiss) from girls. That's not my way of working.
The most attracted person to me may have a crush on me for decades, but unless
they have the courage to come out and say it, I won't notice or give a damn
about it.
I've not experienced love in my time, which was mainly either concentrated on
homework/revision, or being more friendly with girls than guys. Yeah, I'm not a
macho man, so I don't try talking/acting like that, which didn't make me that
popular with guys.
How is it that a guy is friends with girl more than guys, and still can't get a
date?
Well, you guys say I should be in my prime now, being 20... Maybe I should start
looking more. And
I'm still in the same situation throughout life... A room full of girls (and one
guy.)
I would probably say you girls have it more difficult.
Guys don't have many emotional issues (unless something big happens). As long as
you don't go into their 'territory', e.g. partners, stuff, personality etc. Then
they don't stress over nout.
Girls (I'm sorry to say) are the worst at bitching at each other, and have a lot
more emotional issues to deal with.
Also, girls have to endure physical/medical stuff. The menstral cycle,
pregnancy. Us guys just have to make sure anyone takes the covers off us before
we wake up in the morning. (You know what I mean guys...
)
So without all the events in life, girls would have it harder in my opinion. But
like some say, life can be harder for different people of any sex.
Well, it's not really a sex-specific thing anymore. To be honest, both sexes
should learn how to cook a little at the very least.
Just because a girl isn't given the forceful responsibility to cook, doesn't
mean that they shouldn't learn for their own sake.
I mean, it'll be hularious if 2 partners got together, got a place of their own,
and on the 1st day only realise... None of them could cook.
Microwave-able food anyone?
In conclusion, don't feel bad about not being a master chef. But for your own
good, learn how to have at least one decent meal before having to go to Fast
Food everyday.
Well, it's Chaz-Anime because:
Chaz = A name I didn't know what it really meant at the time (about 11 years old
when I 1st used it.) Now I know it means Charles (no, it's not my real name...)
it still stuck and I think it sounds kool.
I'm going to throw a curve-ball at you all. God carries? God can physically hold
something? How big/strong is God?
God's not human, so God may not have hands, nor does he/she/it need them.
I would think if he was human (in form anyways) and is all powerful, then you
could have a rock that covers most of the universe, but God would still carry
it, if so desired.
I could make a thesis/theory, but it may take too long to explain and comfuse
things.
But the basics are there anyways.
Laws are created. But we have to think back to figure out WHY was a law
created.
I personally think that laws are created by belief, and belief is religion. Even
if you're not part of the major religions: Christianity; Hindu; Islam etc. you
can still have morals. Morals are the core of laws. It makes a person think what
is acceptable or not.
For example, a soldier shoots a man. Now some people would think "That's
wrong by any standard." What is the soldier was defending his land? We then
have the split of "That's ok then, since it was in defence," and
"I don't care, it's still wrong to kill!"
Now say that people see the soldier shoot a man as an assault. They would most
likely think "What the heck?! That ***" But if the soldier shot the
man because he would have something to gain, he may think "Alright! He's
not interfering with my plans now."
Laws are made by people to guide. Religions create laws to help people determine
the rights and wrongs of their lifestyle/belief. Government laws are made to
'control' anarchy, depending on how it's used. Now the government/leader have to
have their own belief to make these laws. Therefore, they refer to their
religion/belief.
It's up to us on which laws to listen to. So that's why I think laws are made by
morals, which is made by religion.
I was 11 and it was Pokemon... Well, it was advertised on Sky One as an
"all new series" and it was something different to watch. Boy, were we
young and innocent...
Then we saw (at a similar time) Evangelion and Nadesico on Sci-Fi channel. Then
DBZ on Cartoon Network. And then I was hooked.
Quote by solidvanzEcchi for me is the
eye candy to release my tension to the real world.
I have to agree that it is eye-candy. Guys are always attracted to something
(male or female.) Now for us Hetrosexuals, looking at a really nice figure (of a
girl) and feeling attracted is natural because of hormones.
For instance, some guys like to look at a girls butt. Why? Because it's
something that attracts the males. Like peacocks and their feathers. (Ok, it's a
guy showing it's rear-end to a girl, but girls look at the same place
too.)
I like Ecchi. Ecchi + humour is a winning combo with me, as we always get the
guys ending up seeing the knuckle side of a fist.
Just remember everyone. Don't get too obsessed with Ecchi. You want to go for
the real thing at some time you know.
*Sigh* If life is so bad, then how the hell are you paying money to talk to us
on the Internet? Yes, I know you work hard in a job, and you haven't had chance
to study, but there are people everywhere that are probably worse off and don't
even have the basic needs. That's a lil' selfish in my view.
Your personal problems (i.e. your family/friends etc) may make you feel lower
than lower, but isn't the depression from this loneliness the thing that's
making you shout to the world "I'm not sure I want to live"? I can't
tell you to lighten up, but it's not like you have been shot in a vital place
and asked to be put out of a conclusive suffering.
You have legs so you can stand up. You have arms, so you can do things. You have
life to live.
And even if the world is against you, f*** them! Friends come and go, it's a
fact. Eventually so does family, even if you all are loyal to each other. My
mum's recently died, and that hasn't forced me to go through questioning life.
And she was my best friend. It's your life. Even if there are circumstances that
limit you, you still are able to live your life your way.
So I'd say look at what you have got. And if you don't have much, go out and get
something. Even if it's didily squat, as long as you have something, life is
there to live. And if Internet /games or anything else is taking up money needed
for that, maybe you should prioritise. Is talking to us better than something
else that my enrich your life? As they say, "talk's cheap, action speaks
louder than words."
Anyways, I wish you luck for the future. So don't go round doing things that you
can't go back on unless you understand the consequences. There are options, you
just need to find them.
Well, my bro usually buys his manga and when he reads a chapter and puts it
away, he just dumps it on the floor near him on that page he was on...
Now me, I use something called bookmarks, so they are in good condition, and
dont loose the page I'm on.
Oh, and since I don't eat/drink while I read, I don't make marks on them either.
Yes, my manga is something I'm proud of.
If I woke up with Ukitsu (Battle Vixens) in bed, I would probably hug her like
mad. I would later try anything to keep her, and ask her to train/spar with
me.
Ahhh... If only fantisies came true... But I'm a realist.

Zaraki is probably the most kick-ass of the group. And his vice-captain (Name unknown) makes things interesting. Their the best pairing.
Individually, Soi Fong owns because of the Hand-to-hand thing she's got going on. And Renji has his kool non-bankai sword, and has comedy value.
